Luxury vehicles have integrated dash pieces which make aftermarket installations impossible. In addition, new CAN-BUS networks make the wiring/by-pass a nightmare. That’s where Beat Sonic comes in. They have a all-in-one plug-n-play kit to add an additional 1-din or 2-din source unit without issues.
We will be meeting with Beat Sonic on Monday, October 11 to discuss a few things, but we’ll be back with info for US-market vehicles.

New Installation Manual Added: Lexus SC 1992 – 2000

Apparently we already had the install sheet all along 
Here is the installation manual for the Lexus SC 1992 through 2000 model year. This one is very straight forward, and the rear seat back doesn’t need removal, making this a very straight-forward installation. I haven’t seem the installation for these myself, but I would think it is in the ballpark of 2.0 to 2.5 hours.
The Lexus SC covers are currently enroute and should be arriving late May 2010. Once we receive a firm date, we will begin taking pre-orders.

Here is the official installation manual for the 1998 through 2005 model year Lexus GS. The step-by-step instructions should get you through this installation in about 2.5 to 3.0 hours.

So it’s been a turbulent few weeks getting the site up, but we’re good to go. I’ve added the handful of items we currently have on-hand and will bring new items and inventory online as necessary. We have the Lexus SC 92-00 enroute (ETA – Start of Summer) and R&D for the Lexus RX 04-09 will begin once the pattern engineer returns from Japan.
